Gender Transformative Programming Training

This training on “Gender Transformative Programing” is forumZFD Lebanon’s first training that focuses mainly on gender as a main component for conflict transformation. Through a 3 days’ workshop, accompanied by a 1-day follow up a few weeks later, participants from various organizations working on development and/or peacebuilding had the chance to learn how to embed the gender transformative methodology within the programs/projects they implement.

Participants, mainly mid- and senior level professionals, had the opportunity of discovering new ways to be more “Gender Transformative”. In other words, to develop projects that have the main purpose of advancing gender equality in a certain society, context, environment. This could be done by targeting women or men, girls or boys that suffer from discrimination and focusing all activities on building more equal relations between women and men.
